Anyhow, you are correct, Sephiroth is the Nightmare Incarnate or something, he's the embodiment of evil. Vergil just wants the power to avenge mommy-dearest and, even as Nero Angelo, was not 100% evil. So of course Seph would not have the time of day for friends. But He's not the beall and endall, why coz I said so. So there

Virgil is awesome with his cool style, his blades and his 'bad-guy' attitude. But that doesnt make up for the fact that Dante kicked the living daylights out of him.

It's OK Storm, yet again I was making a funny. Sadly there is not a sarcastic humour smiley. I was hyper as I said, thus replying with random silly shot. Don't mind me, I get like that sometimes.

I believe that, if Vergil and Dante fought while they were both in top condition, Vergil would wipe the floor with him, and not just because he's cool. His moves are more powerful and he's simply got more fighting prowess. As for facing Seph, I think Vergil and Dante would have to team up in order to do even a small amount of damage.

As a fan of both Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry it's hard trying to decide which would win. Looking at the abilities of each, Vergil would win. His Darkslayers instantaneous movement would outmaneuver whatever spell or attack Sephiroth could throw at him. Sorry but Sephiroth is quite frankly, inferior. A born devil against a created superhuman.

Just thought I'd point out the name of this thread is
"Vergil vs Sephiroth" not "Vergil vs Sephiroth after his reunion with Jenova" seeing as so many people keep bringing up the reunion and Jenova cells. Come to think of it Sephiroth is a wuss who needs his mummy to help fight his battles.

Yes he did, they were injected into him while he was still in the womb, the fact still remains that Sephiroth as everyone knows him is also Jenova, so say we're talking about Sephiroth and Sephiroth alone, (as the title of the thread states) then he's a mere human with no special powers. Technically it all makes sense, I'm right, it's the threads title that's incorrect.

I've only played Crisis Core and I probably haven't seen Sephiroth's full power so please refrain from complaining about my view.

From what I have seen of Sephiroth and Vergil, Vergil would tear him apart like wet paper. He just seems stronger, faster and much more powerful. I apologise for not knowing much about Final Fantasy.

I think i will support Sephiroth because he's strong and fast...He hav a very strong killer instinct and very cold-hearted person...When fighting, he just stay calm and can kill the enemy with just one blow/slash he shows no mercy and he have more darkness than anyone (i love darkness...) his hair is beautiful XD and his clothes are awesome when comparing with Vergil...He is a genius too! X3
