How the hell do you beat Vergil for the last time? I beat him until he goes into Devil Trigger then i keep my distance away from him and dodge him but he gets most of the health back that i've just beat out of him.

Plus if i attack him in when he is in Devil Trigger mode he just beats my ass. How do i beat him then?

Are you playing on a mode lower than DMD?

If so, here's what I'd do:

Equip Rebellion and Beowulf as Devil Arms, either Trickster or Quicksilver as styles, and Kalina Ann and E&I as your firearms.

Start the battle as normal, pummeling him until he goes into his Devil Trigger. When he does, let him finish whatever attacks he started, and try to stay somewhat close to him while also giving yourself room to dodge. Once he pauses, you'll have about a split second of an opening. At this point, do either a Helm Breaker or a Stinger with Rebellion, or a Killer Bee with Beowulf(only use hard hitting moves like these when trying to knock Vergil out of DT). Depending on if you chose Quicksilver, activate at the point you start attacking to extend your opening. If you chose Trickster, just keep your finger on L1 to charge your Devil Trigger Explosion up. Another thing to keep in mind if you don't have Quicksilver is to back away after one or two hits, as he has an extremely fast recovery speed in DT and will likely attack again after the first attack. Don't panic, just do the same routine and get as many hits in as you can. After exactly 3 solid hits, it should knock him out of his Devil Trigger.

It's worth noting that once he is near death, he will enter a berserk mode which is nearly impossible to knock him out of. Just keep moving and dodge his attacks and he'll eventually settle down and you'll be free to attack him.

Yeah that helps a bunch i am playing on normal, my first play through.

I am using swordmaster, but i have been told by many people that trickster is better at beating Vergil.

So yeah thanks for the help, i didn't think you could knock him out of DT.
