So what's your favorite EX combo that you've discovered so far? Mine would have to be "True Heaven's Glacier" performed by Sagi. It requires in this order:
"Weak Attack"
"Medium Attack"
"Strong Attack B"
"Heavenfall"
"Ice Bloom"
"Rime Blade"

This move is great for an ice themed deck. I used this in a relay combo and did about 4000 damage!

Ever played the first Baten Kaitos? If so, EX combos are similar to the magnus combos where you are required to play certain magnus in a certain order. However in this game, the combo doesn't make a new card, it just signifies that you performed a special combo and will multiply the combos damage done and possibly add a bonus effect (such as defence increase). Also, new animation will be included to make the combo look cooler!

Haven't played the first game? An EX combo in the most basic terms, is a series of certain magnus played in a particuler order. When this requirement is full-filled (assuming you did a series of cards that actually make a combo), dialoge will appear on screen under where your HP is displayed and inform you of which combo you performed.

If you want to look at past EX combos you've performed to remember how to execute them or to read more about their effect, first go to the camp screen (press Y), then go to the "Gathering" menu, and finally "EX Combos."

You can use an EX combo as soon as you find compatible cards. Try this EX combo for starters, it was my first combo:

"Star Breaker" Milly
(Milly must be equipped with a lightning element weapon first)
"Weak Attack"
"Medium Attack"
"Strong Attack"
"Sevenstar Dust"

The game itself never tells you "Here's how to perform an EX Combo..." You just have to figure it out on your own or read how do it in the instruction manuel. As I said before, you can start doing them once you have compatible magnus for a combo. I did my first EX Combo in Hasselah.

i just perfomed "heavenly bloom".it was made with heaven fall and ice bloom, plus, i just today got double crush, which is made using "emerald thrush" and a different that i don't remember right now,but i'll come back to that.
edit: the other magnus was diamond drop, and it's called "emerald drop", not thrush, and also, i just performed "wheel of fire and ice", using fire wheel and twin ice auger.

"Emerald Drop?" Is that the name of an EX Combo or a magnus. I know there is an "Emerald Thrush" magnus and I'm sure that when you use "Emerald Thrush" and "Diamond Drop" in sequential order it makes the EX Combo "Double Frost." Please clarify that particular combo.

I think that it may be possible to expand this combo with a level 3 special attack to create a 6 card combo.

yeah, soory, i just checked a liitle while ago, and, yes, it is called that.
i also just recently performed "crimson skies", it consist of heavanfall and red padma.

"Crimson Skies" is great, but now I'm trying to figure out how to perform a more advanced version of it using a mixed variety of the "Attack" magnus.

My favorite EX Combo must be Frigid Queen's Parade.
