	Your wife will have one after you marry (she'll start complaining she's feeling ill, and when you go to the doctor you'll find out she's pregnant). If you play as a girl the game will end when you marry, so you won't get a child.

I didn't bother to finish the girl version, so I'm just telling you what I've read and what everyone who has finished it has said.
