Dan's face turned pink as he felt the side of it with his hand.
I narrowed my eyes at him.
"What?!" I shouted, wiping a tear from my eye.
"You were having a bad dream." He explained.
I got out of bed and stretched, then turned back to Dan.
"...You did it." I whispered, remembering how he'd turned it into a nightmare.
He just laughed and walked out of the room.
"Mommy.." I mumbled as he walked out.
I fixed my braids and headed for the table.
I poked at my food.
"...Not hungry." I frowned.
Ronald scowled at Dan, who looked down at his food.
I headed outdoors.
I needed to be away from them.

"Alright, Dawn. Take care of yourself," my mother said.
"I will, Mom, dont worry," I replied.
I walked out the door, waving to her.
And I headed for Flower Bud village.
Well hi there.
I'm Dawn, Dawn Gump.
No, not in any relation to Forrest Gump.
I'm from the city, but by the force of my mother, I had to go to Flower Bud Village.
Farming was passed on from the male parts of my family.
But I was my mom and dad's pride and joy.
A girl.
So now the farming part came down to me.
But then father died.
And I wasnt a girly girl.
I was a tomboy.
Down and dirty was my slogan.
I took good care of the animals from my father's farm when we lived in Forget Me Not Valley, but when I was ten we moved to the city.
And now, I'm a country gal again.
Yee-hah.

I took a walk, trying to get my mind off of things.
I could see Tim in the distance.
He was with that wannabe farmer girl.
She was giving him some gold ore.
I wouldn't be surprised if my brooch came from ore SHE mined.
I clutched the gold brooch, tightening my grip as I watched them.
Her face was pink when she talked to him.
My hand squeezed the brooch.
He was so happy.
My hand turned white from squeezing so hard.
"...T-Tim..." I mumbled.
The brooch's chain broke.
I threw it on the ground.
I let my braids fly as I made a dash for the orchard with tears in my eyes.
I saw Tim's head turn.
I prayed he wouldn't follow me.

Kurt wasn't at the Workshop when I arrived.
Good.
I hoped he moved out with Katie, then they could get married and have a jolly happy family.
"Stupid, loser of a brother, stealing my girl.."
I thought of Dia.
Her smile, her tears, her comfort...
I was falling in love with her.
That kiss was better than any I ever shared with Katie.

Still avoiding Dan and Ronald, I sat under an apple tree at the orchard.
I stared at Jay.
I heard footsteps on the grass.
I looked up.
"...You...dropped...th-"
Tim was holding my brooch.
I backed away.
Tears were in his eyes.
"...I had no need..." I mumbled, looking down at Jay.
"But-"
"No...need..."
He dropped the brooch and ran off.
When I was sure he was out of sight, I snatched up the brooch.
I would go get it fixed.
I admired how it was a perfect shape.
A small heart shaped piece of silver ore was in the middle.
I turned over in the grass, stuffing the brooch in my pocket, and hugging Jay.

The next morning, I awoke to Kurt's face.
"What do you want?" I snapped.
"Why'd you punch me?!" he shouted.
I got out of my bed. "You stole my girlfriend!"
"Not my fault!" he shouted.
"HOW IS IT NOT YOUR FAULT?!" I screamed.
He backed up. "Whoa, dude..
"NO! I LOVED KATIE! YOU STOLE HER!"
I huffed some air.
My brother was such an idiot.
"And, what's worse, you.... you broke Dia's heart," I mumbled. "How can you live with yourself?"
I quickly exited the room and ran outside.

I reached a sign.
"Welcome to Flower Bud Village! Population: Growing!"
I rolled my eyes.
And I kept walking.
Then I saw a man who looked almost exactly like the one from Monopoly.
"Hello!" he said.
"Hi," I replied.
"Are you here for the ranch plan?"
"Yeah."

All the sudden, I opened my eyes.
I sat up.
A dark blue blanket with white dots on it was put on me.
I had fallen asleep under the tree.
I stood up, pushing the blanket off of me.
It was Dan's.
I remembered what I had said to Tim, only a couple of hours ago.
Admiring the brooch once more, I walked to the mines.
"...I'll make it up to him." I mumbled to myself.
I padded into the wet and dark cave.

Um, that's animal crossing, harvest! lol!!!
Tef, where is Joe???



Yolie walked along the river. She jumped in.
"what are you up too?" A voice asked.
Joe.
"Um.. Nothing!" She said, blushing.
He jumped in and splashed her. They splashed each other. Then they swam along the bank.
Joyfullynessness!!!

I was looking for Dia.
The Sanatorium was the first place I went. Duh.
I entered the building, but was stopped by a blue-haired girl.
You'd think I know her name.. wouldn't ya?
"Umm... can I see Dia?" I asked her.
She shook her head. "Miss Dia is sick," she informed me.
"I'll make her feel better," I told her.
"No. Sorry, but you must go."
I sighed. "Please? I promise to make her-"
"You need to leave, sir," she interrupted. "Dia told me to send away all visitors.."
"But if she knew I was here, she wouldn't-"
"LEAVE," she bellowed.
"Gina? GINA?!" a voice called. "Who are you talking to?"
"Some man!" the apparent Gina replied. "He wanted to see you!"
"Does he have an American-flag bandanna?!"
"Uhh...Yeah!"
"Send him up."

She decided she didn't really like Joe.

After what seemed like hours, I found a speck of gold ore.
"...Ore." I mumbled.
I broke further into the rock.
More ore.
I had hit the jackpot!
I stuffed the ore in my pockets.
Admiring the ore I had found, I headed for the blacksmith.
I would smooth out these pieces of ore for Tim.
I smiled at the thought of the look on Tim's face when I would hand him the little pieces of gold ore I found.
