The bit where bits fly form him it is merely parts of his attire. The revolver bit through the glass is just to dark to see his head properly, you can see it faintly though.

Headless or not I really like these death animations, they are some of the most realistic I have seen, the only other game I have seen with deaths this realistic would be Resident Evil 4.

Yep I agree, and I own RE4 and it kicks major ass, I still play it, even after beating it several times.
