re: "Playing and aiming in PDZ is like playing an FPS on a PC with a laptop's touch-pad. Simple as that." |

1) Halo 2 does take skill
a-) Not everyone can jump-shot. b-) There is no auto-aim with an un-zoomed sniper. c-) Auto-aim sort of speeds up the confrontation. Afterall, it helps newbies just as much as you, so if you are better, you should be able to headshot them before they get you. 2) PDZ has a crappy aiming system a-) As said before, the aimer speeds up when moving. b-) Aimer is too big! Has anyone else had trouble seeing what they are shooting? c-) Helmets offer too much protection. d-) I often find myself watching blood spurt out of an enemies head only to find they aren't dead. There has got to bee some kind of either Live lag or Game lag that is causing this. e-) Pretty sad that your character can't move their arm faster than someone can run. 3) Halo 2 has gotten screwed a-) Bungie screwed over Halo 2 with: Schwatguns Removal of Head to Head Schwatguns More dumb Team Action Sack settings How can a Gulch war be in a city, not a gulch? ONLY THING GOOD=6v6 Team Battle 4) Zhang-Li a-) Anybody else think that it was dumb that a futuristically set gem had a 'magic-like' ending boss. I mean, he can shoot plasma seemingly out of his ass, has magnetic fingers, and can somehow survive two full DW-P5 clips of headshots when he is standing still. 5) Cool Features a-) Cover is a very useful feature in firefights. b-) Demokits force 'I'M GONNA JUST STAND HERE IN THIS ROOM WITH ONE DOOR AND AIM AT IT' people to use their brains to a greater extent. c-) The secondary functions are very fun and useful. Combinations of them can be very effective and deadly, like caltrops and explosives or the Hawk's and ViBlade's shields. 6) Game Settings a-) Sabotage makes people usee their brains, not just shoot people. b-) Eradication is fun when people don't camp and tie it every round. c-) Killcount=Halo 2 Rumble Slayer d-) Team Killcount=Can you guess? e-) Capture the Flag is good classic game. f-) Territorial Gains is fun when you don't get lost in Temple. g-) Onslaught is pretty fun. Reminds me of Tower of Power settings in Warcraft or Halo. h-) Infection is pretty much a zombies setting made ranked. 7) Host a-) Host is a real problem in Halo 2. I have noticed that I can kill people after they are around a corner. I even tested with two Xboxes next to each other. So far, I have only played one laggy host-reliant game in PDZ out of my 500+. That's a pretty good record. | |

quote Zee_psoIf you think I don't play the game enough, check out my signature. And I do know how to shoot helmets off, it just should take so much to do. They don't have inertial dampening or anything like that either so it should like knock the shit out of you when you get shot in the head with your helmet on. -------------------
