If you melee with any weapon, it counts as a melee kill. Don't get confused because people call the rifles as if their names are 'sniper.' They are actually named 'Jackal' or 'Shockwave' and if it meant that any kind of kill with a sniper would go for sniper kills, it would say 'kill with Jackal or Shockwave,' not sniper kills.

Rather than create a new thread I decided to ask here...
First I do not even have a 360 yet but I have been playing Counter-Strike and heard that PDZ has some similar Multi-Player options. I know the game uses bots (and I do not have live) but some things seem at odds. It says that bots for Dark Ops levels were added later. Does that mean that if I cannot get on live then I cannot play Dark Ops with bots off-line? As in I would need to download the content first before I could play Dark Ops with Bots. So I guess put simply are there limits to the bots as to their use off-line? EDIT: I got the automatic update, I can't wait to play some DarkOPs I wish you got achievement points for that instead of Killcount, I think Dark Ops has to be more fun. Well I guess I will have to make the most of it, and play some deathmatch as well, I am not so great at killcount for some reason.
