Well technically you still do, because if you have to constantly revive them, you'll end up getting smoked yourself. Unless, of course, you can drag them to a safe location after they get gunned down, but I doubt that.

This isn't Hitman, after all.

Either way. It's better than failing the mission as soon as your ally is hit. Esp. if you're near the end.

1. Car indicators. This stood out a mile for me in one video but I've not seen it since unless I'm being totally dense.
Not sure what you mean here...are you referring to objective indicators that appear over a car you have to destroy? If so, they are still present.
No I think what Oz means are the indicators on the cars. I'm not sure what you call them in America, maybe turn signals? The orange lights that flash on the rear of a car to show others which way you intend to turn.

re: Developer QA

Yeh steel is right, I mean car lights indicating where they plan on turning. I'll grab a pic from an old video if you're not sure.

Rest sounds awesome.

re: Developer QA

So car indicators are turn signals?

That's what we call them in America.

Car indicators = Turn signals.
There we go.

I've also read that the draw distance is really good.
So you can see a car from far off, and watch it stop at lights, etc.
And they stay where they are, even if you look away, and look back!
Non-dissapearing cars! Finially!

Yeah I thought you called them turn signals but I wasn't sure. They are just called "indicators" in England.

re: Developer QA

Is that on NPC's vehicles only or can we use indicators ourselves on cars we are driving?

re: Developer QA

I remember in the original Driver, if you were at a standstill, whichever way you turned the wheel, the turn signal/indicator would respond accordingly.

I couldn't imagine other ways to do this without taking up buttons, unless we used the directional pad.

I actually kinda hope not, at least if it's automatic, it would be kind of annoying and not make ANY sense if you were in a car chase. Manual would be a wasted control imo.

re: Developer QA

I like the npc turn signals because I was always hitting peope on gta because I didn't know that they were turning and tried to pass.

The demo sounds good but how big will it be as far as memory? With the entire city it will be the biggest demo yet.

He didn't say the whole city, he said the whole saints district, which is the smallest district if you check the website.

re: Developer QA

Yeah judging by the map, the demo looks to be about 1/9th of the whole city roughly. So plenty of stuff left to explore after we wear the demo out.

You 360-owners are so lucky.

But I guess it works out for me.

I could handle getting just a small taste of the game.
