Exactly. A good way to look at it is this, the more hours of play time a game has, the busier the forum will be. I know that's not a fool-proof way of looking at it but it works (mostly). Oblivion has got maybe 150 hours of play so the forum is really popular as Jespomo said. The same happened with GTA-San Andreas. There are loads of hours of stuff to do after the main story so the forum is still huge. Games like GRAW, although good games, just don't have the variety or length that constantly raises new discussions for people. This doesn't take away from the quality of the game, but will affect the forums activity.

I think one reason that the GTA games always get a large conversation going in the forums is because they have such a wide variety of stuff to do and lots of Sony fanboys as well. I mean the forums for GTAs' PS2 versions were packed but Xbox's never seemed that way. Look at Halo 2, lots of online play after you are finished with the campaign but that forum isn't packed. It might have been a while ago but have died down but it's just a point.

The first ever RPG, I ever played was Final Fantasy VII. It was truly great.

Because there is not a lot to talk about. It's quite a straight forward game with generic online modes. It is a great game, don't get me wrong, but it holds little conversation value on a forum. At least that's my theory.

If you go on other forum sites you will see 20 pages of forums and stuff so there are people who think the game is popular.

I must agree with that. And there is also not that as large of a fan abse for Ghost Recon as there is for GTA on PS2 or Oblivion. In the GTA forums the people will find the most random stuff to talk about since there is such a massive world in those games. And like Steel said there isn't much of a variety in this game to talk about. I mean look at Halo 2 and 3's forums. Halo 2 is a great game but there aren't a ton of people in there. And Halo 3 will most likely be great but no one is there either. I remember before San Andreas came out there were 100's of pages for the game's forum already. It just depends on the game, system, and maybe if it has online play or not because I know if it has great online play I will be playing that rather than talking in a forum.

And what sites did you go on that have 20 pages for this game in their forums? Also I'm not sure that neoseeker is that known of a site. I don't know many people, if any, that live around me that would go on this site instead of IGN. I know IGN's forums get tons of people. If you would post something in some forums you will have a response within a minute or two.

Yeah, it was IGN and there was another... that had quite a lot of pages but most of it was Spam.

Oh. Yeah I can't picture any site getting much conversation going about this game. Or any FPS for that matter. The only one would be Halo 3 just because that series has so many fans. Might talk about the story and online for a while.
