i was wondering if the allies for bruma quest was really worth doing since you have the option to pass it by.

I've never done it, and the main quest was easy for me.

I guess it depends on how high your difficulty bar is set to. But, as Aspect of Bane said " I've never done it, and the main quest was easy for me."

If you're doing that part of the main quest on a higher level character, I would recommend getting some extra back-up. The Daedra are going to get a lot stronger than Martin and the few Blades there can handle.

I got all the allies because I liked watching all the them fight together, along with a Dark Brotherhood Murderer, Mage Apprentice, Adoring Fan, and Shadowmere.

That must of been a huge battle, haha.

I did the quest to get Skingrad, then I started the Anvil one but realised that Allies for Bruma was optional. Closed the great gate, and then the Anvil quest was completed, so if you start all the allies quests but then advance in the main story you should get some quick and easy quests added to your counter.

i did half the cities and finished it with ease. I beat all the main quests now, WOO. thanks for the help guys.

but one more thing, in my final fight jauffre died, but i was wondering if he was supposed to or if it could have gone either way, and if he survives, if it changes anything, just curious

If you haven't joined The Blades and Jauffre dies then you'll never be able to join. Doesn't make much difference though, you only get full access to Cloud Ruler Temple.
