Vampire Cure Help? |
|
Hey,
Before i start i would like to say i am posting this for a friend so i don't know 100% of the information so it could be a little hazy but ill try my best. Let me start, My mate has been turned into a vampire for some odd reason and when he tries to do the vampire cure quest someone won't take the item that they need to do the cure. He tries to re-load saves but it still doesn't work. He has tried everything and he was wondering if there is anything that he can do to get rid of this without having to do the quest because he doesn't really want to start over and he reckons he is trapped to certain areas untill night time? Anyway, Any help on this would be great Thanks - DeathClaw ------------------- ![]()

If it's the problem with there not being an option to take the bloodgrass, then the only solution would be to download the latest patch. If he's on 360 then that'll require Xbox Live.
And being a vampire is not that hard to control. As long as you keep yourself in the first stage of vampirism you'll be fine and won't take damage from the sunlight. Only sleep or wait when you have to and then find someone to feed on whenever you run into the next stage of vampirism. If you have Rosethorn Hall and the servant then you've always got easy access to a neck to bite.

If he's reloaded a previous save and it hasn't worked, he may be screwed. If he's playing the 360, then there's nothing he can do. If he's playing the PC, he can use the Console to fix things. There's also a workaround that works on the PS3 version, but it's more complicated than either of the other two methods.

quote swk3000Not true. There's a patch that you'll get off of Xbox Live that fixes the problem. I know because I was having exactly the same thing happen to me, got Live and the glitch was fixed.
