ok the mission called "the sunken one" u go into an abandoned farmhouse near kvatch and find a note in a plate that says go to sandstone cave or cavern anyhow once ur there u go thru and find a second note on top of a chest and go further into the cave. once u get to the place where the green arrow says u need to be...there isnt anything there except a sack called "the offering" and im not sure exactly what i need to do in order to find the man who descended to appease "the sunken one" i cant find anything of significance that would help...the only thing there is the ground and that single sack...does anyone know what im missing?

Just keep going. You should find his body with the last diary page.

If I remember you should be in or by a long corridor and the guy should be right there on the ground,dead.There should be a jornul saying The Sunken One attacked him,he said he failed his mission,and as it turns out The Sunken One destroyed Kvatch also(because hes a storm atranoch).As soon as you read that get a good weapon and spell(s)out and prepare to fight The Sunken One(wimp if your about lvl 5-15).

ok so i have been looking and looking and there is no body and no third page.....i know where it is supposed2 be at because my brother in law has the game as well and there is no body on the ground next to the sack its just empty ground....im still lost....what should i do?

I know this thread is dead but the cause of this problem is likely because you exited the cave before completing the quest. To spawn Slythe (on a PC), type "player.placeatme 00185DC9" into the console. Kill Slythe, take the diary, and carry out the quest.
