how many of you have got this plug in?
i have it and ive only just started getting some good tomes, since they appear in conjurer/necromancer dungeons. And even then the chances of getting them are slim. swk's ceytatar method of grabbing alchemy equipment also works for the tomes which is awesome  have any of you got any good tomes? -------------------   | |

Actually, Tomes are the one plug-in I intend to never get. A lot of the spells are just book versions of the spells you can buy from random vendors. There are also a number of new combinations, which are interesting, but you could make the same spell at the Spellmaking Altar. While a Spell Tome saves you Gold and space getting the effects for the spell, the fact is most of them are actually not all that great. A custom spell is always better than any spell provided by the plug-in.
The only spell that I would consider taking from the Spell Tomes plug-in is Pride of Hirstaang, simply because it gives the 'Summon Black Bear' effect that's normally only available to Spriggans. And the reason my method for getting Alchemy equipment works is because Spell Tomes are added to the same Leveled Lists that generate scrolls. Basically, if any container could have a scroll, that number is divided by 4. That number is the chance of finding a Spell Tome. So if a chest has a 10% chance of having a scroll before getting the plug-in, after getting it there will be only a 7.5% chance of getting a scroll, and a 2.5% chance of getting a Spell Tome. Since the Ceyatatar Boss Chests have a chance for scrolls, they also have a chance for Spell Tomes. -------------------

I have a few spell tomes on my Dunmer who I've stopped using. I think I had a summon skeleton and a charm tome, not that great.
But I still love collecting them.  | |
