Salutations! I am the Omega, and a few of you may know me from the PC forum for this game. Although Oblivion would run alright on my PC, I couldn't alt+tab out of it or take screenshots without it freezing. I became fed up with not being able to check guides or browse the internet while playing, unless I kept turning the game off and restarting it. Picked it up for the 360 and will recreate my Redguard Knight I had going from the PC version.

I play oblivion quite often, im a Dunmer, level 22. My favorite items consist of full umbra ebony (same as regular ebony i know, but the fact i killed umbra to get it makes it sound cool ), and "Nature's Scorn" Thanks to Coognut for that idea by the way, personally better, IMO, then Umbra's sword (refer to the "custom enchantments" thread). I look forward to participating in this forum alot

I am stuck on the quest where I get the spell from the statue and have to cast it on the Countess at her dinner party. I have 120 Sneak and sneak over behind a column that shows I am not seen and still get caught every time. I even found a way to lock the officers out of the room. What am I doing wrong?

Thats the Sanguine (sp?) quest correct? If it is, anytime of the night, usually after 8p.m. i think, the countess hosts a dinner party. Go into the castle into the room where the countess and count usually sit on their thrones. Look to the right and there should be a guard standing in front of the door. "Persuade" him (i chose to mass bribe for this because i was running low on time) and make sure you are dressed for the occasion. No armor and/or weapons equipped, instead wear normal stuff. I suggest a "Black and Burgundy" outfit since it takes up both a shirt and pant slots and you only need shoes. After your dressed and the guard's disposition is high enough, at least 80 i think, he'll let you in. With the spell ready for casting, jump up onto the middle of the dining table and cast the spell directly under your feet. Since the spell does 1 damage, you may suffer some jail time for "assaulting the count/countess" After being released, proceed to the shrine, get the staff of the Sanguine Rose, and retrieve all your items from the chest behind the bench. Enjoy causing chaos you demon worshiper you.
