There are no dumb questions.... Well possibly some questions are dumb but you just got this game if my information is correct, so it't not a dumb question.


When you are in game, press the B button to go into the menu. From there press your right and left trigger until you are on the tab on right. From there you can navigate through the game map and also your quest information by pressing left and right on the D-pad. Hope that helps

How do i buy a horse?

You can buy a horse at the stables of any city. They are usually just outside the gate of the city.

Hint: Did you start the main quest yet? You may not have to buy a horse right off the bat

yea i got the horse from main quest, but was wondering how to buy them. At the stables I have been to there is no buy options.

Ive had this gae for a week and 3 days now, and I absolutely love it. I have restarted any times, and have decided to be a Dak=rk Elf for the main stoas the Daedra use Flare...Flare, fire, flare, fire...duh...

Anyway,I have also made an Argonian today which I intend to use in the Dark Brotherhood/ Thieves Guild. I think this is a good idea...

In the story, I am up to the part where you have to gather help for Bruma...I have destroyed 4 of the 7-9 gates needed, and am finding this part slightly repetitive...I have got Tiber Septimes armour, which looks awesome...

Anyway, hope I made good choices...

How do you taunt someone into attacking you.
Where do I join the Dark Brotherhood/Get their armours

In order to taunt, you must speak with the person you wish to taunt. As long as there is an option to say something to them, you can press down past the responses and onto the left-most square in the lower left hand part of the screen. Once you click it, it brings up a little mini-game-like section on the upper left part of the screen. There should be 4 options like Taunt and boast, as well as give you the option to bribe the individual to increase their disposition.

As for the Dark Brotherhood quest, there is recent post about this that should be able to help you out

I think so, but I am not sure. I have never tried taunting and then closing out and going back into it. But even so, going through all the options over and over again will increase your speechcraft skill fairly quickly

Sad news is, they took taunting out of oblivion, so its only in morrowind.

You can only raise or lower someones liking of you, but they wont attack you....

Really? Again, this is something that I don't know because I have not actually tried to repeatedly taunt someone.... But isn't one of the 4 options, when persuading an individual, taunt? Seems kind of silly that taunting would only be to lower disposition

Well I don't really buy any enchanted jewelry, I tend to find it in loot or as a reward for completing a quest.

Also if you have any more questions might I refer you to the General Discussion? This can be quite useful as more players frequent this thread than the Welcome thread, so there is more of an opportunity for someone to help you.
