I'm posting to see if anyone knows any extra special secrets. I've already beaten the game, found all the items, killed all the monsters, removed all the barriers, yada yada yada.

So I've looked up a few walkthroughs and I've gone to a few forums, and I haven't been able to find any information on the following.

In Pachess Town, if you go around behind the shops on the left as you enter the village, there's an open grassy area with a fenced off tower in the middle. The gate in the fence says it's locked. Does anyone know how to unlock it? I assume it's either there for no reason or because it will serve some purpose in an expansion/sequel.

A related thing that worries me is the "abandoned" buildings in Jibral. The guy next to them just says you can't enter. That gives the immediate impression that they're some kind of secret areas. Anyone know anything?

Also, I'm a little curious about this Himiko character that's mentioned only in the enclopedia descriptions of a few accessories. Apparently she was Nene's lover. Am I missing something, or is that going to come into play in the sequel?

you might alreay know about this, but in Jirbal, or whatever the city is called, when you go twards the castle and the inn is on you right and the bridge to the door to the castle is in front of you, go to the left, down the path, and down the stairs by the stream. there will be a man who rewards you special items by geting nothing poinst, which you get by examining items and get the message that says "nothing". I'm not sure how many you have to get to get all the rewards(I need 600 now).
