Hey. Recently the Halo Portal has largely gone down the proverbial shitter due to a lack of time invested in it. With Halo 3 around the corner, we'd like everyone to help chip in with adding content.

It's simple, visit http://halo.neoseeker.com

You'll notice a lot of empty pages being created at the moment, the portal staff editors will be starting to add content to these pages over the next days as we get closer to Halo 3, but it's a lot more easier and speeded up if you suggest content.

So if you see an empty page, hit the "Suggest Content for this Page" link located underneath the main box area of a page and submit what you know. The portal staff will add it onto the page when they log on and make it all pretty and neat .

We don't want stolen content, where you copy and pasted from another website. That's strictly frowned upon.

And basic HTML knowledge is what I have. I'm interested in the position, and don't worry, I'm not only interested for the tag either, I'm actually willing to do the work.

Best way to show us you're interested is to submit your own work and content using the suggestion links on each page. It's all noted down and if we see you making a good effort to help out, we'll most likely be adding you on to the portal in the foreseeable future. We prefer this method because that way it sorts out those who are just after the novelty tag, cause despite what everyone says, they often do nothing at all.

And you can also submit Halo News. Links to other websites with interesting stuff on, like Halo related editorials, information about funny stuff (that video of Master Chief in Gamestop) and that kind of stuff.

Myself and father run a web design business

I can do it - plenty of spare time

I know HTML, CSS and can use Photoshop & Fireworks okish if you need graphics.

I have basic & Advanced (IMO) HTML/CSS Knowledge, accompanied by some HTML programs like the Seamonkey Composer. People say i'm very good at graphics.

So in my eyes I'm pretty Willing & Abled

I have little knowledge about HTML , but I am a Halo genius. I know like almost everything about Halo and if I don't know (this happens rarely) I have everything I need to get it in like 1 minute without the internet. I know I am a noob to neo but I know a lot about Halo and I am the one that posted the complaint about the Halo portal. PICK ME!

How are you displaying the threads off the forum on the portal? Does Neoseeker have some sort of RSS feed or are you doing it some other way?
