Any way to put a ban on creating "Halo 4" and "ZOMG THE PLANET AT THE END OF HALO 3 IS ONYX" threads? People don't seem to realize that there is the ending discussion thread.

There is no way to ban it. They could put up something saying do not make any more of these threads, except the problem isnt that bad, and people wont listen to it anyway.

So... ummm... could one of the mods deal with CAPnCOL before he permanantly scars the forum?

Yeah but it wasnt even arguing with a nub anymore, it was just all out flamming. Something that not only just plain annoying but also against the rules.

Eh, I'm glad that hes banned. We dont need idiots like that. All they cause is trouble. Just look what happened with the threads he made.

EDIT: Can we have a ban list? To see whos banned and stuff like that?

Can you make it so we can see it? Its useful to know who is banned. Like, then we know that CAPnCOL is, and others who have misbehaved. It can be an example, and to know the reason why they are not posting anymore. By example, I mean, this is who's banned, this is what they did to get banned, therefore, don't do this or you will get banned too. But being able to see the ban list would be useful to the members of the forum.

That would be convinient, I must agree.

And why did my probation end early? Just wondering because yesterday it said one post a day until 11/11/07, and today come to find out I can post as much as I want again.



Also, thanks for banning CAPnCOL... he was tempting me to start trouble >.<

I agree with Prince, People will be a lot more weary of a ban when they see one that has ben carried out. For me this is the first time I have ever seen someone being banned and it's a lot easier to happen then it seems. I think a little reminder would be good for people new to Neoseeker and this forum.

I don't do public ban lists because they are lame. The whole weariness factor of being on such a list. That would probably work on the kindergarteners or the scores of people in this forum with the mentality of a 5 year old. But I still don't agree with it. If you want to know the reason why people get banned here, it was because even for a moment they were being a dumbass and/or being annoying. If you don't want to get banned, just don't be a dumbass. That simple.

Well even if you dont think it will help, I, personally, and probably others, would like to know whos banned. Someone seems to disappear, well what happened to them? Most forums have a ban list. I really think we should have one here.
