You may not get it on release day since you preordered it kinda late. But lets hope you do.

Thank god you didn't say NCAA 2008, I don't play sports games period (I gave that a try and realized just how worthless they are), but anyone who buys the latest sports games when they're first released is quite simply a tool. I mean what a waste of money.

I meant to say 2008, so if that was sarcastic, it was a bit lame making an entire post just picking on a typo.



If not, then yeah whatever. It's been out for three months now, and since I didn't get '07, I think it's okay for me to splurge a bit on '08.

Considering that NCAA 08 has dropped like $10 in price (PS2 version) in only a couple of months too. Sports games are a waste of money up to 8-10 months after they've been released. You'd be suprised how many people trade them in like the month after the game is out too. I want to laugh and say "wow, sixty bucks down the drain huh when you could have waited a month and gotten it for like $40".

Has anyone heard about possible DLC for Bioshock in the next couple of weeks? If the DLC is like 6 months off, I'm going to be selling my copy to get the Orange Box (already have it reserved).

Isn't a pre-ordered is just having a saved copy? I'm sure there's enough copies of Halo 3 to be release for any game store.

Yeah, but reserving a game means you don't have to stand in line at all to get your game and you never have to go to more than one store to get your copy. It is also the only way to get LE reliably.

For example, you CANNOT buy a Legendary edition of Halo 3 at my store on or after release date. Ever. We are being shipped the exact number of units that were preordered, not a single one more or less. If you want the regular edition, that's cool too, but preferably I'd like to know that if I reserved the game I could wake up at 3pm on the 25th, dick around on my 360 until 7 and then show up 10 minutes to close time and pick up my copy with no hassle at all. I couldn't do that if I didn't reserve the game since I'd have to first worry if the store nearest to me had the game at all and didn't sell out, then I'd have to call them and ask them to hold a copy for me (then realize that they can't hold a hot-selling title like that without a reservation), then haul ass down there to get it before someone else walked into the store before me to buy it.
