No. The cable man came over just after that part to work with the cable. After that my friend started a new game thus making me start all over again from Act 3. But I don't mind. If I have the Boomshot then I'll be fine.

dont know if anyone else posted this but, the easiest way to do this part on insane is to use the pistol that fires fast(dont remember the name of it) it actually becomes easy

I played through the mines on Insane a few days ago and I was reminded of this thread. Anyways, I was just wondering why anyone found this part difficult.

Maybe it is because I am that damn good, or because I played with an AI teammate, but I only died once, and I didnt really find much about the carts to be difficult.

The Underground Factory with the torquebow guys is much more challenging.

The factory isnt that hard play conservative,use the occassional chainsaw and make sure you keep away from the shotgun and chainsaw guys. It makes it easy!

All I did was shoot the Wretches as soon as I saw them. And if I needed help I would empty the clip and active reload so it does more damage. It's pretty easy. And when the Soldier guy is to your left just blind shot the Shotgun. Took me like 2 goes.

Snub pistol = easy as pie.

One thing also, playing as Dom in online Coop for this. Host Lag will rape you in the ass in this part.

The only way I ever die on the Mine Carts is if I'm playing with a moron on Co-Op.

Don't Chainsaw glowing wretches on Insane.

Want a guaranteed easy way through? Just use the default pistol. It's so easy as long as you can hit them. Don't even bother trying to kill the guy standing off to the side at the latter part, he won't even hit you enough to kill you.

We would have beaten this part easy had Cdemon actually been any good at this game.

The only part on the Mine Carts that used to piss me off at first was when you go through that one door and the boomer is standing on the opposite side, because, for the longest time, I would STAY DOWN and he would still fire the boomshot, hit the cart, and kill me, and I'd be like "WTF!"

Then I figured out that if you stand up and then duck down real fast, he'll fire it over you.
