This is not a deadly serious thread, just fans of the game having some fun imagining a Gears of War cast. So, jump in the casting couch for the Gears of War movie. Who do you think would be good choices for the characters? I have a few picked:
Marcus: Dominic Purcell from Prison Break. He is bulky, tough and could play a scarred hero.  Cole: Michael Clarke Duncan. This guy is probably the only guy big enough. He has a deep voice and could say all of Cole's lines well.  I am away from home and my photoshop so here is my funny as hell mock up I did in paint. Surely someone here could do better.  Who do you think could play the rest? I was thinking Owen Wilson might be ok for Baird. He is a smart alec but might not be tough enough. Anyway, keep adding (post pictures or links) actors to the cast and maybe we can do a tragic fan-poster. Light hearted suggestions welcome (ie Orlando Bloom as Baird) and remeber, this is not genuine speculation. ------------------- Watch Milkenobi on youtube \  ]

Carmine should definitely be Sawyer from Lost.

I took into account that The Rock did a terrible job in Doom. But I think he could maybe do better in gears.
Josh Holloway would be pretty cool for Carmine if you ask me. Good suggestion shane. | |

My bad. I actually meant to say Baird. Typo on my part.
He does suit Baird's personality to a tee, and I don't think any of them are going to be the size of their game character counterparts. They're un-realistically huge in the game. Terry Tate = only Cole. [He does his voice for any of you who don't know.] ------------------- Armed and Dangerous | |
