not really, the range is still increadible with the pistol and grenades. alot of the time, you can clearly see them swing and miss, but you still get hit, or hear that little "tink" noise of a grenade.

throwing a smoke bomd and then chainsawing is better then running with the chainsaw until you hit the guy.

At first, chainsawing bothered me alot (with the 3 feet lag advantage) or the times when someone with the saw downed, but immediately picks it back up.

but its definite to have an automatic handy if youre cents. away from being butchered, you'll have a better chance of setting off a few rounds, than a shotgun "lag blank" to screw you over

heres something to think about you ppl complaining.1 the chainsaw isnt cheap i hear that they dont get stunned by a shot but big deal press the stupid A button twice backwards and you dive away in that direction jeez, also if the guys sneaking up to you with a chainsaw i must ask are you death? cant you hear the chainsaw being revved it sounds like (vrroom) so if you hear that just roadie run forward to dodge it.2 the lancer isnt too powerful its just that your bad at either avoiding bullets or taking cover.3some of you said people are sometimes hiding behind corners then they come at you with a chainsaw well heres something you can do when your coming by a corner you suspect and enemys standing behind you pull out your frags and you toss one next to where you would beleive the guys hiding at and if you see body parts fly out from the corner then congratulation u just saved your self from being sluaghtered.

Chainsawing isn't a big problem to me. If they decide to run up to me kamikaze style with their chainsaw revving it only leads to 50% of their body being torn off by my shotgun. I don't care for them, just keep running and covering till your at mid-point so you don't get whacked and shotgun them. Lancer whores, run and cover is the easiest way.
