HL2 is only getting re-released on the 360 and PS3 right? Well even there that's the first time either of those two consoles is going to see HL2 made specifically for those consoles.

The Orange Box is also getting a PC release.

What the *bleep*? They want me to pay for Half-Life 2 again? I already paid like 80 bucks for the collectors edition back when it was released.

The Orange Box on PC is going to be $50 Vol.

$60 for PS3 and 360.

That's still a waste. I don't need Half-Life 2 again, I just want Episode 2, TFC2, and Portal.

I absolutely love BioShock, I can already tell it's going to be one of my most favorite games of all time. I have nothing but praises for it. It still surprises me how well this game was designed. Also, the AI and respawning enemies is so well done, it's like every respawning enemy was scripted in such a perfect way it makes re-entering old areas and such just as cinematic and epic as the first time through.

Oh and playing in pitch black with headphones in the Medical area, priceless. Truly amazing, this game isn't scary but it is SO jumpy. I jumped pretty hardcore at one time in particular.

Standards are getting higher for games. 360 is still stuck on DVD which can have up to 9GB. We've already had a scare of disc space with PGR4 which means the limit is nearing. 360 games may still be good in a years time, but PS3 games always have the opportunity to be better because there's so much more space on a Blu Ray disc.


The first level in Killzone 2 is next to 2GB in size. So a game of that quality on the 360 could only manage about 4 times that.


Anyway, I'll probably send my 360 in when my Live runs out in Jan because it's very noisy. And I still haven't managed to get BioShock yet, it's getting ever so difficult to avoid spoilers. I'm gunna get some quality headphones for it too. One: because from what volacide says gaming is better with headphones and. Two: my 360 is noisy as hell and if I'm not going to be talking over XBL all I will hear is this piece of poo Xbox.

The argument that PS3 has no games worth playing is getting a little old and samey. The PS3 has got off to a rocky start. I mean Resistance is fun but I wouldn't buy it. But things like Killzone 2, MGS4 (obviously) and Warhawk look amazing and very enjoyable. And there are obviously all of the multi-platform games too and PS3 exclusives that will surely come to the table.


I'm still a 360 fan at heart but I'm not going to let that fool me into thinking the PS3 isn't a solid product with potential for a solid gaming library, it's already showing us some great things.
