If you played the Gears campaign at least 20 times Sereph why did you never bother to beat it on Legendary?

Eh, because when I did try to get the achievments for Insane, I ended up playing the chapters out of order, and before I knew that you couldn't get the achievement this way, I was about half done and didn't want to start over, especially when I had newer games to try.

I suppose the achievement system does push you in to playing games more thoroughly. Which is good in a way, but it doesn't make you play the games for the right reasons. I mean I got all of my weapons based achievements (excluding Don't Hurt 'Em) just by playing the game. Seeing as I never use the Hammer of Dawn because it's a glitchy, non-responsive, non-consistent piece of crap that just leaves you open for attack.


Anyway. Getting BioShock and Vegas today. And I ordered some nice Sennheiser headphones. Wheee!

I went to (almost)every single god damn room in the game in under 12 hours, I only missed one weapon upgrade station. I'm going through again on hard, I'm around the 3rd level now. Trying to take it a little slower this time so I can find everything.

BioShock uses a level system? FTL.

Kind of, it doesn't feel like it uses a level system, it's just more based on how many little sisters are in a particular "level." It still feels completely free roaming though.

Also, I don't know about the 360 version but on the PC there are only load times between the "level" changes and that's pretty crazy considering how huge the areas are.
