Which for once shows that Sega is going all out serious with this one, making Sonic look older, makin eggy less eggy, and seemin to make this more serious in general. If there aren't chao, that may show that this is all fight, all serious, tryin to get back to the "roots", with some difference.

It remides me a lot of Sonic Adventure 1. Mostly the beach level, the killer whale is back again.

After reading the translated version of that site, I have come up with a theory that Iblis is that Shadow look alike with blue stripes, mediphilis (not sure of the name) seems to want to do the same thing as Sliver, stop the Ibilis trigger.

Maybe it works out as:

Description of Ibilis Trigger received by Meiphilis = A black hedgehog with a white puff on his chest and striped quills = Easily mistaken for Shadow.

Description of Ibilis Trigger received by Silver = A hedgehog who looks rather similar to the Ultimate Lifeform (remember since Shadow is immortal we must assume he is still alive in the future so Silver might know what he looks like) with blue quills = Easily mistaken for Sonic.

I am probably off by miles but thats my guese for now.

I think this is a reasonable guess for what is going on. I read on that translated site that the Iblis demon is immortal, in that after it is killed it reincarnates again in a new form. Perhaps this time the new form is this Mephiles character. But what does he want with Shadow, well apart from destroying him like it says in Shadow's profile there.

Edit - Actually, I re-read the "Silver's Story" part in the Story section. It says that Mephiles tells them (Blaze and Silver) about the Iblis Trigger and that a hedgehog that looks like Shadow activates it somehow. I'm not sure now Unless Mephiles' story is a coverup to take the heat off him.

I just thought of something. Perhaps Shaodw is a clone of Mephiles enriched with Black Dooms blood. Maybe that causes him to see Shadow as the only one who can stop him.

I think I heard at one point that Shadow was given the information from Rouge who was given it by GUN to tell to Shadow. Perhaps the mysterious reason the Ark was shut down wasn't just to do with the comet but also include an attempt to protect space time from Shadow & Ibilis complications.

Hey on those new movies it shows a little after the 35 second that he throws chaos spears.

Now I am psyched.

iv nearly completed it now iv finished sonics episode and silvers but only bout 50% of shadows done so far
