how many guns are there in the game?

ive only seen about 3 in the demo

heres some i know because im a WWII nutcase.

Thompson, M1 Garand, Springfield '03, B.A.R., Gewer, Bren, Stein(?), MP40, Rocket Launcher( forgot the other name) and a Kar98. There's more...

For the rocket launcher I think you mean Panzerfaust. Also, there will be MP44s, Lugers and Colts too.

There is also a crappy revoler used by the Brits.

The germans had two anti-tank weapons in the war. the Panzerfaust, and the Panzershrek. The Panzerfaust was smaller and more portable and not in the game (it was in the first COD). The full size "bazzuka" style weapon in the game is called the Panzershrek. I googled it.

Yeah you can see the Panzersherek in a commercial for CoD2. I don't have this game yet, but I am getting it for Christmas.

... Wait ... So console gamers get pistols this time around?! Awesome! It kinda sucked how they had pistols in the PC version of the original Call of Duty but not in the console version. Well... I don't know why it's such a surprise to me, since the two versions are pretty much the same in every way except for minor FPS differences and such...

uhh i'm pretty sure there are no rocket launchers in this game. I have it and i'v only seen the enemy use it in single player mode and when they use it, they use it on a building you can't get too. Each type of people though have almost the same guns, just a little different. I'm contnet with them though.

Well I was just naming some of the guns in the old game, because I don't have this game yet.

funny enough they didnt put it in live!

So even though these weapons are old-school (due to the time period) do they still make the game as fun as modern weapons would?

I actually think it's more fun than modern weapons. I mean it's just too easy being able to shoot off like 1,000 rounds a minute. The weapons are not really that bad, they give you semi-auto and full-auto weapons, so it's still fun. Plus you really get a sense of what the soldiers in WWII had to go through with weapons and everything.

I give the weapons a 9/10.
