If anyone has seen the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead they'll know what I'm talking about, a group of survivors from a zombie apocalypse take cover in a mall while zombies surround the mall (hell the mall even looks like the one in dead rising) It's a good movie so rent it. Just felt like pointing this out.

The originals the same, if you notice at the start they have a message which says 'this isnt associated with George A. Romero Dawn Of the Dead' or something to that affect.

"this game was not developed, approved or licenced by the ownders or creators of george a romero's down of the dead"

Both of the Dawn of the Dead's were awsome.

The original was the best, although the remake was one of the better horror remakes.

man this game is definitely based on Romero's dawn of the dead, if not then Capcom had an idea that recreating it into a video game with added stuff would be a good idea. either way Dead Rising is an awesome game.

yeah i got it a couple of days ago and i noticed the note on the bottom half of the game.

We know, the makers of dawn of the dead tried to sue the creators of deadrising for "Stealing" their idea but the courts ruled that survivors in a mall could not be copyrighted so deadrising was made and They've been making fun of it ever since.(the deadrising creators that is)
