re: speed level

This will depend as each time you level up you are given either another inventory slot, speed, life, (and i think one is strength) or an ability (again i think)- These as far as i can remember are allocated purely at random

I may have missed something or included something incorrect as i have not played in a long time and cannot check as currently have RROD and awaiting return of Xbox.

re: speed level

Ignore Elite and Tom this around. It's completely random. You could get 3 speed by level 4, or you could get it when you hit level 50.

Actually no, things are set. Like you can only get Zombie walk at level 50, and full stregnth at 49. If it was random, the player might get lucky and have full strength by level 10, or knee drop at level 2, and would therefore destroy the enemies.

EDIT: We were all partially right...
This will get confusing, so bear with me...
Special moves have set levels, such as zombie walk will only be unlocked at 50, so there are levels gone to specials. However, with upgrades (speed, strength), they have set levels as well, but which statistic is upgraded is random.

Exactly although I think its based on every 10 levels not set levels for moves like at lvl 4 you could get air kick speed strength throw, etc. but not disembowel cuz its in the 40-49 zone of skills.
