I had saved it at the sofa, went outside and got shot by some guys in a jeep. Chose to have my game saved and exited out of the game. Came back and I had to restart at the beginning. WTF?

Exactly what happened to me.


Guys, never play a Nintey Nine Nights demo and then play Dead Rising. Really easy way to get yourself killed.

After you saved on the couch don't hit save when you die because hitting that save restarts you at the begginning.

Instead just simply hit load game.

see for me I only have a 27" standard TV, I am not fortunate like my roommate to have a 32" HDTV...

Has anyone else had their primary objective or "scoop" tracker not work?, normally the arrow will point me to my destination but I have noticed that sometimes it will disappear for good until I start over again.

Boy did I enjoy the game when I was able to rip off the 50cal heavy machine gun emplacement off the back of the Humvee to start pwning all moving creatures!, I have not been able to such godly acts since Far Cry Instincts Predator. Another issue I have is the lame people you're to rescue. I honestly get annoyed by having to talk to them multiple times before they'll join me, listening to them whine and sob, people like this deserve to die in my opinion.


On a final note, does anyone know if there is a surplus store? as in one that contains military equipment?, such as guns, BDU's, accessories. I honestly want to trick my guy out in tactical gear.

Have yet to find the hunting shack, but I have found the blade store. Pretty cool being able to wield a Katana or a Broadsword.


Ahh man, so much for my dreams. Meh least I am able to find a (or at what least looks like) an M4A1 SOP MOD with a fixed 203 attachment. Or it is an M16A2.

The aiming of the guns is a lot like Resident Evil 4. Which makes it really cool!

Guns = FTL

Cash Registers $ and Baseball Bats * = FTW

this game simply put...is utterly repulsive but i cant take my eyes off it.

How the hell are you suppose to rescue the survivors?
I am having complete trouble rescuing Aaron and Burt. I tried for 4 hours yesterday, and I cannot get them even back into the food court alive.

I am also having trouble with Leah. I can easily get her out into the Leisure Park, but the prisoners in the jeep keep on coming after me. I already killed them once before when I rescued Sophie.

So what exactly is this major problem with the saving that everyones having trouble with?

Well, the thing is, you save at the safety zone and if you get killed in the mall during a mission or something you get have to restart at the saftey zone.

Oh I see. I thought this would be the type of game that would let you save anywhere, seeing as it's more of a fun game than a serious one. Also, are there different difficulty settings on this, or just the one?

well seeing how I don't have enough money (yet) I rented dead rising (amazingly it was in) now i've started and holy *bleep* this thing is amazing!

I got a few questions though

1. wheres the uzi?

2. where can I find a hardware store?

3. why do I hate carlito already?
