Bad Ending |

I dont get whats going on here. I have had to play this lousy game through about 6 times because if you make one tiny error it wrecks the game but you dont find out until several hours later. Yuck. Why does Capcom hate us? Games like this were made in the 80s and everybody hated them then... this is just terrible.
Ok rant aside here is the question, I hope you can answer it. I did every case file. I killed some soldiers and some time waiting until noon, and then high tailed it to the helipad at about 11:50 (didnt know I was supposed to talk to Isabella at 10am) so I skipped that part. It says 12, I get a cut scene of the pilot being eaten saying Im dead. HEllo? Im standing right there, in the middle of the freakin helipad at noon!! The game ends. I dont save it cause I dont want it to nuke my one stupid save this crappy game gives me. I try again. I stand on the steps, no dice. I try again and stand by the door. No dice. Same thing every time. Pilot gets eaten. What the heck is going on? I have to find out what the problem is so I can see the good ending before I rush to the game store and sell this stinker back to them. I thank you in advance for your assistance.

You HAVE to talk to Isabella at ten and stand in the center of the big H at noon.

Oh. So capcom is just being *bleep*ed having a guy come out and look around and then say "When you are dead you are dead."
Regardless of the fact Im standing in front of him alive. Wierd. Oh well this game gets really preachy about eating meat and lets all go be vegetarian hippies anyway. Lame!

dude does it even matter? if u dont talk to isabella no matter wat cutscene u get your still gonna get a rank C anyways. so stop complaining and just finish it. your not gonna get anything with that ending anyways.

quote MustacioActually, talking to Isabella and getting to the helipad on time get's you the "A" ranking, which unlocks you "Overtime Mode". ------------------- ![]()

quote MustacioUh... actually I got a megaman outfit and some new boots. And yes it matters. It detracts quite a bit from the plot of a game to have somebody show up and say that Im dead when Im standing right in front of him. That doesnt seem at all odd to you? No accounting for taste I guess.

quote TheVoidNo, I guess I assumed that it was a different ending since you get those in the game. So no, not odd at all.

re: Bad Ending |
quote TheVoidwat i am talking about is if u dont talk to isabella and just wait at the helipad, even if the guy does pick u up your still going to get a rank C because u didnt talk to isabella. so who cares if he died, try getting the A ending and not the C ending because if u dont get the A ending u cant unlock overtime and infinite mode. And u cant get megaman boots unless u play overtime. so watever cutscene it gives you who cares just talk to isabella at 10 if u dont want to play through it 7 times. because if u keep doing the same thing ur gonna get the same ending.

I see what TheVoid is trying to say here, but its a moot point. Capcom threw in the C ending because they knew some people wouldn't be able to talk to Isabella AND make it to the helipad on time or they wouldn't make it to the helipad at all. Besides, if Capcom made a seperate ending just for people who made it to the helipad but without talking to Isabella, they would have probably made the one that you get when you unlock overtime mode anyways. (but they would have been unable to cover certain plot elements important to overtime)

re: Bad Ending |
quote Serephwell if u got overtime from ending c and the helicopter actually picking u up, then they would have to have way different story. because overtime isnt just some random mode where u play through, u need to beat is to finish the complete game.
