They re spawn every now and then to make the game harder.

So far they stay dead until I turn off the system.
Oh well not so bad now their easier to kill.
Best way I found but kills their car is to get to drivable van Near meat packing entrance) in the tunnels, ram them with that a few times. Them finish the driver and passenger.

Be honest; I'm at level 15, do I stand even the slightest chance against Brock or should I just restart and save myself the embarrassment?

For Isabella I grabbed a nail gun from one of the nearby construction areas and stood on top of the boxes to the left so she couldn't get at me. Every time she stopped to aim or got her bike stuck trying to ram me, I unloaded nails into her head. I'm surprised she didn't look like Hellraiser by the time I was done.

For Carlito 2, I grabbed a skateboard from the sports shop in Paradise Plaza, then I used that to get close to him without being hit. I was very lucky because I got stuck in a doorway while trying to run away from me, so I sliced him to piece with a Katana.

For Carlito 3 I avoided him as well as I could. He's quite an irritation, but it's not necessary to beat him, especially if you're only at a low level. (I was level 14 at the time).

For the Butcher, I used a sledgehammer (on top of the shelves in the warehouse) and the uzi from above the book shop in Paradise Plaza (jump on the blue awning from the stairs and follow it along). I started off hitting him with the sledgehammer, then as soon as he went to grab one of the meat slabs, I ran away and unloaded some uzi bullets into him. You can get a PP opportunity if he goes over to the lockers and washes his hands in the basin.

I don't think you could handle Brock, he got me to low health and i was 40 something. But to beat him a great move is the somersault kick.

I used 100 rounds of an uzi to defeat Cletus.
Don't keep your hand on the 'X' button while shooting instead just keep tapping it. It saves a whole lot of ammo.

Well at that level I never even got up to Brock. I got my ass handed to me by some SFs.

I've beat him since though.

Also, after my throwing strength had increased, I had great fun beating Carlito 1 using nothing but dinner-plates.

Kent was easy to beat, just kill him on the first day, he dosnt attack u

But if you do that, does it count as a 'psychopath' kill?
Also, doing so would prevent you from rescuing Todd.

Some easy Physchopath kills (im doing this because im bored D:)

Adam: Adam is one of the hardest bosses out there but with this tactic he is so easy. Just before you battle Adam, go to the food court and grap both Ice Pops from the court and blend them together to get Spitfire. Then near the huge football (soccer ball) destroy the garbage can and grab the hunting knife out of it. So basically when you have activated Adams fight drink the spitfire at him. He cant block it and the spitfire lasts a while. If it dose'nt last long enough just use the hunting knife when he gets close and you should kill him easy.

Cletus: Pretty much all you have to do is grab a Uzi from ether Paradise Plaza, Wonderland Plaza or what ever. Then approach the gun store and activate the cutscene. After that step outside and kill all the zombies with the double lariat. If you dont have the double lariat the leadpipes you find scattered down the alley are good to use. Open the left door which enters into Cletus's store. Stand behind the door and aim. Frank has a natural right lean so you can kill him easy by him just walking by. Shoot him when he walks down the counter. If you run out of bullets grab the handgun from the cops, if they dont have any go down the secret passage and there should be multiple cops with handguns.

Carlito 1st encounter:

If you are low level and did not pick up Brians Shotgun in the Enterance Plaza. First of all you need to beat Cletus. After you do so grab a Sniper and a Shotgun. When you have acticated the Carlito fight stand near the wines and shoot at him with the Sniper. After you weaken him a bit grab one or two wine bottles and approach him. If you get really close take him out with the shotgun. If he runs on to the top of the food places Snipe him from where he started at. If you are a higher level and grabbed brians shotgun. Just do the same except use the Uzi instead of the Sniper.

Carlito (2): Practically all you need to do is have something to heal yourself like Wine prefferably, or orange juice. Grab the hockey stick from the store on the right handside. Just shoot hockey pucks at him until his health is down alot. Brad should take his health down aswell. If you run out of pucks and he isnt dead go to the bottom floor and destory the garbage cans to get a handgun.

The Sniper Family: This is quite a hard battle is some aspects. First off grab some frozen vegetables from the grocery store. Then proceed to the gun store and grab a sniper. Then return to Paradize Plaza and mix the frozen vegetables together with the Orange juice in the cafe to get quickstep.. Then grab some juice (2 or 3) for healing then grab the Katana and head to the Enterance Plaza. Activate the fight and stay right away from the Snipers. Snipe them while standing way away from them. Heal if you have to by standing behind the poles. If you have weakened them and you are out of bullets. Use the quickstep and strike them with the Katana. If you are in dyre need of health there are snacks on the bottom floor.

Thats all I can be bothered righting for now. I might do some more later.

Im stuck on the isabella bike mission, i can kill her fine but then it enters a cutscene of her driving away and then "the truth vanishes into darkness" thing happens.... done it a couple of times now, what am i doing wrong?

You gota "kill" her fast, she drives away if you take too long


Adam and other Pyschos:
Adam for me was easy as, what i done was (this is taking back to the start of the game and will help for all bosses)
was when the lady 1st lets in the zombies and you get flooded with them, concentrate where "brian" is. If you paid attention he is the only 1 with a gun.
When he dies grab his shotgun for an early decent weopon.

As i do "Back up for brad" instead of going straighht to him i go to the huntin'shack.
Cletus will not be there so all the guns for your desposal.
Now you should have a decent collection(if you have upgraded stock)

As for Adam, before i battle him i get the 2 Japanese survivers and give them shotguns. Battle adam and watch them blast away at him, dont worry your survivors dont get attacked (well mine didnt)

Easy eh? sure someone has done this

Now you've got small chainsaws and guns so boss fighting should be easy...erhh..easier

Mark of the snipers:
I just chased them all into a store and chased them into the changing rooms lol
if your lucky to get at least 2 of them in there u can hack away. The antique shop has plenty of katanas just for this purpose

Yeah i managed to go the whole game without fighting cletus.. i know for a fact he doesnt appear on the 1st day (during back up for brad?) and he isnt there on the 2nd to last day, He then is replaced by the camping survivors

Cletus

Normaly, I don't kill him, and I wait for the suvivors to occupie the store (I think its on the second day, where he goes away and there are three people there), but when I did, it was quite easy. I brang Cliff's survival book (100% on all healing items) Some wine, 2 handguns and a mac. I was a fairly high level, and if you dont have that much room, take out the book or 1 handgun, you need the wine.
Anyway, hiding behind the display case can sometimes block his fire, wait till he sips his wine, then go out for a shot (A camera photo rewards high PP), you should repeat this until he relaods, when you should make a dash for the counter and-

Adam's Chainsaw-
Just take a few slashes at him, and repeat until he is dead

Without Adam's Chainsaw-
Grab a shotgun, if you can (Or a rifle, even better) and run back, he'll throw you away if you dont hurry. if you got a shotgun, repeat the same hiding and shooting as before, but with the shotty, if you got a rifle, open both the doors and stand way back, outside, and just snipe him. Congrats, you now have the gunstore. (Survivors will come and inhabit it later on)

Adam
Ah, a important boss. Rewarded with a kick-ass chainsaw and a shortcut to paradise plaza. This boss, In my opinion, is easy. You should want a few healing items, wine is great, 2 pistols and if you have any empty spots left, more wine or guns is a good idea. As soon as the battle starts, you have a wide chance to take pot-shots at him, when he approaches you, run like hell, always keep your distance. Anyway, keep on running and checking on him, until he blows up a ballon. Keep trying to shoot at ballon while its near him, and he'll cough a stutter, giving you a chance to shoot him. 90% of the time, he will blow up another ballon. Repeat, if he comes near you, try to run, and get in that postion again. if you run out of ammo, there are some Police zombies with handguns near by. This battle should be over fairly quickly. If you run out of ammo all together, since there is not alot of good items, try to get some beads, unless you can find a good melee weapon, has to be fast, though. From here, you wanna keep on hitting him with whatever youn have until he dies.
Congrats, remember to deactivate the ride and save the mall survivor, he will tell you a shortcut, and remember the get the Chainsaws, only one spawns, grab one, de activate the ride and it will respawn. It will keep on respawning whenever to come back to the area. Its usally a few hit KO with bosses.

Carlito-Sniper
I'm not going to bother with the first one, its way too easy. With him, some wine will do, as well as a strong melee weapon, and maybe a pistol, but a strong melee weapon is best, Adam's chainsaw or a katana does great.
As soon as the battle starts, run up the stairs and into the sports store, and grab a skateboard. This is important. Try to get as close as possible while riding it, try not to get hit, he should miss 99% of the time, if you keep on jabbing X for speed. When close, be quick, because that sniper hurts. Hit him with your melee weapon, and back off after a few hits, take a few shots with any gun, and repeat with the skateboard. If you have Adam's Chainsaw, dont back off, just keep on raping him with it.

Larry
Easy. I always thought of him as the boss of 72 hour mode. He should not attack you straight up, too. You should be a fairly high level by now, and hope to have atleast 8 spots. 5 wine, 2 handguns and a strong melee weapon, maybe Adam's chainsaw.
As soon as the battle starts, slap him around with your melee weapon (If its Adam's chainsaw, the battle will be over quickly) and Run back, he can hurt you, bad. Keep on shooting him with a pistol, unloading all you have on him, if he gets close, melee him. There isn't much else to say.

Isabella
This battle needs to be done fast if you took time to prepare. Atleasy 6 item slots, bring 3 wine, two handguns/shotguns/rifles/SMG/Machine guns, and a melee weapon (Again, Adam's chainsaw) as soon as possible, run up the scaling and pot shot her with any weapon, be careful, she moves, fast. If she pulls out her handgun, shoot her as fast as possible. If she drives away(not the fail cutscene), equip a melee weapon (Heal if hurt) and chase after her, when you see her, try to hit her abit with a melee weapon, or get a close shot with a gun. Eitherway, run up to a high distance and repeat. Be sure to be Quick, though.

Carlito-Car
The car can be tough, but rewarding if you get rid of it. Before the misson, go to the hunting shack, chances are you'll see some survivors, even if you didn't kill Cletus. They will open fire on you. Get out as soon as possible. They will notice your not a zomnbie. Talk tothem, and they refuse to follow you until you show them a picture of the vent. Snap a picture of it, and show it too them. They'll follow you. Save them if you want, but you want the Machinegun and shotgun two of them are carring. The chick has a handgun. This can be done in two ways, killing, or giving them food or something to switch out. Eitherway, get a machine gun, maybe two shotguns, a katana, and some wine. Any books will do. This is simple, get out of your car, and unload everything into him, if he comes close, katana the door, this fight can last awhile, but it makes the mission so much easier. If you run out of ammo and your katana breaks, ramming your car into it will help. A hint about this mission, dont use to motorbike, As soon as you get in the tunnels, go left to get the first bomb, then take the other truck, if it is not there, try re-entering. This truck makes it SO much easier.

Hehe, I got bored with the usual method of killing Carlito the first time so I jumped on top of the crates below where he is and jumped up onto his level, then sledgehammered him to death

Small chainsaws and OJ nuff said

To get the Small chainsaws, you have to wait on the second day for otis to call about the space rider in wonderland plaza, is out of control. Go there and take with you, some OJ or wine or any good food source, then get some pistols and a katana. You can find pistols in garbage cans, just pick them up and throw them (who would throw away a pistol with 30 rounds i don't know, sometimes its a snack or a baseball bat or something else but easily you can find pistols in garbage cans). Or if your low on time, get one from a police zombie in wonderland plaza at the stairs near the space rider.

Now go and try to turn off the space rider. but what's this some crazy clown has arrived with two chainsaws and doesn't like you near those controls "Gramps" as he calls you more will be explained in the cutscene. After it's ended quickly run down the stairs away from him. Don't worry he starts on the other side of the space rider giving you enough time to get away, then stay out on the landing where the shops are and have your pistol ready.

He will eventually blow up balloons, when he does get your gun out and shoot it, there is tear gas or something inside it, he will choke for a bit leaving him defenseless. Run up to him katana in hand and take a few swipes then run back again. Repeat until he is dead, also help the guy on the space rider he shows you a short-cut

I hope this helps because these chainsaws kill bosses in about 2-5 hits, depending what boss and your level. The easiest kill i had was on the sniper family 2 hit kills. Without these weapons, it would have taken me ages to complete dead rising to get the true ending.
