I'm hoping it will be one of Capcom's revealed games at E3 next month. They said one of the secret projects was to be a sequel to a popular franchise.

They are making a game called 'Extreme Shopping'

It's basically Dead Rising but the zombies are replaced by angry shoppers (...who...also grab and try to eat you), and Carlito is replaced by an evil Walmart CEO who doesn't want people shopping anywhere but Walmart.

The survivors are replaced by people who can't find the shop they need to be at.
Brad is replaced by Ronald MacDonald.

Okay...I apologize to anyone who thought that I was serious. It would make a pretty cool game though.

In regards of the location, it would need to be somewhere that weapons are readily accessible. A small town with a multitude of shops is an option. I also think that an amusement park would be interesting; it worked for silent hill.
A school would be similarly creepy but weapons wouldn't be readily available (I would hope >.>). And that might give them an excuse to make the main character angst teen with fair too much hairgel and the run of the mill pretty-boy esque.

I always thought a huge cruise ship would be a great location, but I sway towards liking the open town idea.

It will propably also have Frank West as the main character again cos' in an interview in Gamesmaster Magazine he said something like " Frank West will continue as a gaming icon" or something along the lines of that.

Also that interview took place when Dead Rising 1st came out so The news of a sequel is a bit late.
