I'M SO CONFUSED.

A couple a months ago, me and my friend were playing N3. I SWEAR TO GOD, WE WERE PLAYING MULTIPLAYER. WE WERE.
I remember starting Inphy's story with multiplayer; with her and whatever her brother's face is.
We did a new levels, blah blah.

So: Today, me and another friend went to go play. Only to have me 'durr' at the screen, because I didn't know how to set up multiplayer. I called my other friend: and he doesn't remember how to.

SO: I go look online- only to read everywhere that N3 DOESN'T have multiplayer. I remember playing it with two people vividly: so, WTF? D:

I'M SO CONFUSED- was multiplayer added, is it only for certain levels- how do you do it?! D:
