question one: is this game worth buying?

question two: is this game better than halo?

1) Yes, I believe it is. Dont trust the antihype. I loved every moment of it. Its not clever in the same way the likes of Halo, PD and HL are but it has that nice retro feeling to it souped up in sexy graphics. Id advise that you do get it, the demo of it doesnt give it justice.

2) Many people would say no. But they arent the same kind of game. Quake4 is a run and gunner. So its hard to compare them.

yes it is worth to buy but online Halo2 is better i think but quake is harder.

I say yes to both questions.

Quake4 is shoot first and shoot later.
Halo on the other hand is shoot now huge cut scene l8r.
both games are fun to play, but the diffrence is that Q4 has alot more to kill, while halo leaves you standing for a few minutes before there is more to kill. another diffrence is the back tracking in the games. in halo you go back to the previous area and it's just as you left it. Q4 you go back and get slotted by a the *bleep*er you missed. lots of blood in Q4 very little in halo. in my view Q4 is better and i've played both.

I recon quake 4 was really really crap.

Its so annoying how sometimes you have to restart the whole level because you start at checkpoint with like 1 hp

If your starting at a checkpoint with 1hp then you have to be really bad at killing the strogg quickly, doggeing or ducking behind cover. no wounder you think its crap. halo is just shoot and get killed and respawn with full health. Quake you actually have to try and survive while looking for a medic or a med-kit.

no not as good as halo sorry tri another game i doudt any games as good as halo
