I am able to play campaign and the game works fine, until this annual harvest window shows up. Each time when the window with a horse on it shows up, my game freezes and I can't do anything, but to restart my computer manually(using power button). This is weird because it's the only thing I'm having problems with. Any other annual harvest windows don't cause this problem. Only the one with a woman feeding the horse.
Please help.

this sucks i resently bought it and could not wait too play the main campaign mode and whenever a message apears it stops and i cant reset it i have too turn off the pc by the plug and its very annoying fix it please its driving me [size=4][/size]MAD

Yes, my game freezes too, when the black dude sends his messenger and asks me to join in an alliance. I've tried killing the messenger, hiding my main horse guy to whom you have to send the messenger, and nothing works—the window appears one way or another, and my game freezes.

I am having the same issue as well except I never see the harvest window it freezes before the picture is displayed.I have also had similar issues when I kill another Diyamo. Has anyone found a way to fix this error ? or what may be causing it ? I have had Shogun Total War Warlord Edition since 2002 and it worked fine up till two days ago when I got the itch to play it again.

After having issues with it claiming I didn't have the disk in and uninstalling and reinstalling I got to play for about an hour before it glitched and froze. After the computer was shut down I opened the game and tried accessing the auto save which opened but froze at the same place again. I have checked the process moduals and theres on that sticks out but I can find nothing that relates to Shogun tied with it. its a process called "~EF7194.tmp" But ending the process does not allow the game to continue.

Exact thing here. I came back to this game after some time, I finished it once without having any hickkups, but now, whenever the son of my daiymo comes to age to become a general, it freezes, or when I kill another Daimyo, Any solutions? Is it XP problem?

I have recently bought Total War Eras, and installed Shogun. It is the gold edition and in campaign mode the game freezes in 1533 when i play with green and red clans(imagawa and mori??)...

but it didn't crash with blue clan.

This is a similar problemm.
