Okay, this boss if really making me PO'ed because I can kill atleast one, and then I die from the next one.
I know that you can put them to sleep which I do that. But its that damned fire move that kills everyone and yeah... And theres four. My characters are all level 40-41 and can't level anymore. So I ask for help; is there something I'm missing? | |

There's 2 ways to go about it;
- Go to the Old Sorcerers Mansion, beat Persona and you'll be rewarded with an accessory that grants the 'absorb fire' skill. (might be a bit of a challenge at your level) - Get the 'fire proof' skill from an item by completing a treasure hunt that starts outside the Inn in Uhra. Once you've taught that to your immortals the battle's will be a breeze. -------------------  | |

i remember that battle with personna and i dont remember it being really difficult so just the usual rpg battle...bring enough items and things and use kalm as ur main hitter and whoever else u use....she may be immune to some magic but i'm not sure
all i remember is its not a difficult fight -------------------  Todd is Single again this totally sucks | |

and if all else fails get a few levels....also if you have mack try using him and kalm as your power hitters...there is something to that boss i dont remember what though...its been ages since i played it

Depending on which way Persona is facing, it will either absorb Magic or absorb Physical Attacks. You'll want to have one or maybe 2 people attack at a time; otherwise, half your group will undo the work the other half has done. However, it's still not a hard battle, so you should be able to complete it no problem.

Jeez, I wonder what I am doing wrong. I've gone after her twice now and she wipes the floor with me.
Anyone know where to find the Absorb Magic and Absorb Damage accessories/skills? It was recommended to have those equipped before facing her on something I read and I don't seem to have the necessary objects/spells. -------------------  This Post Needs More Zazz. | |

I have the first two luckily, just not the last two. Penguin race you say... I guess I am heading in that direction. XD
Edit: Realized I had the Talisman already. Dur. Went and did the penguin race and got the amulet. Persona still crushed me. How is Persona kicking your ass so badly? Like, what is happening in the battle?

Yup, I know.
Seems like I get her down to almost nothing left for HP and then she is just spamming me with Darkness and Death spells. I can't keep up with her. I read one strategy to just use Kaim as your only strong arm and use the four mages in the back row, but I think I need to rethink that and bring Seth in the front row and toss Jansen. ------------------- This Post Needs More Zazz. | |

Hmm. Then I might suggest getting the Ailment Resistance (Angel Guard), which makes you immune to all status changes, including Darkness.
You can find it in the Forgotten Cave as one of your treasure hunts. There isn't much you can do about death though. That thing will just kill you and there isn't anything to prevent it. I ALWAYS fought with Kaim and Seth in the front row. ------------------- Bruce Gradkowski's #1 Fan | |

I think I will try the formation change first and then try getting that Angel Guard.
The Talisman and Amulet don't absorb all that often. I only saw it work once when Persona cast Force on Kaim and he absorbed it instead. Other than that I didn't see it work the rest of the battle. ------------------- This Post Needs More Zazz. | |

Yeah, the attack/magic absorbs really aren't that essential in the battle. I just listed them because they are a bonus. As long as you're protected against Persona's status changes, you'll be okay. She doesn't have very powerful physical attacks.
Just do Kaim/Seth up front with Sarah/Ming/Mack or Jansen in the back. have three magic users as Kaim and Seth are the only physical attackers needed. Even use speeda to quicken the attack of teammates if needed. I remember not having any trouble with Persona after I was properly equipped. ------------------- Bruce Gradkowski's #1 Fan | |
