CuSiths are my favorite. Big movement, good jump, mostly balanced stats, immune to wind, and they just rock.
Next in line are Beast Masters. They have slightly less warrior-like stats, good throw, a nice weapon choice, and nice movement. With all the beast boosting they do, Beast masters make monsters incredibly useful.
Oldmen are by far the cutest class! Although they are tied with Heavy Knights... (I call my knight "Giggles".)

My favorite is the Gunner, because I love western based...whatever. Since I'm so sad, I tend to make some sort of duel scene in battles. Usually a thin long platform is home to this idiocy. ^-^

The cutest is probably the Moth things. Their face is so innocent.

I love my red skull <3 most useful that doesn't deal damage is my theif.

My favorite would be the Mages and Skulls. I've always really like the magic classes and I like them even more in this game since magic spells are higher powered than they were in Disgaea 1.

Favorite Class? Fighter Tier. Why? Watch my Lvl. 1968 Battle Master with All levels of Ice, Wind, Fire, Heal, and Star spells learned, with 51 Mastery in Axes, 78 in Spears, and 59 is Swords. Watch him as he effortlessly Own's just about anything he comes. I'm still working on getting stats up over 100,000 but his Attk and Defense are coming quite close.

I'd say..Hard one..Magic knight? My level 30 Magic Knight pwned Shura XD. Albel I wish I get that much time to play Disgaea

lol. I don't get as much time as you think. no more than probably 6 hours a day. ...On weekdays anyway. On weekends I get a good 20 hours in a day.

I'm now balancing between Gunner and Male Ninja for favorite character. I beat the game with my first save and did a little more, but like usual I wanted to make a new one. So I did, and am trying all of the other classes that I didn't use the first time around.

I have to ask; what is so great about the Male Ninja's compared to the female? The female get all of the cool skills, they actually have 2 counter, and the %'s are evened out.

Since I'm just starting out with them, does anyone know a good reason to use them, beside how cool they look holding a spear, and how their hair looks from behind...

According to the Strat guide I bought, give the Male ninja's a Speed weight. Their Speed stat doubles when their HP is a 25%. So, they have insane speed at higher levels that makes them almost impossiable to hit. ...At least according the strat guide anyway.

ya, I know people who have gotten their ninja's evade up around 90% using this strat

Mine would be the Samurais. I like their look when wielding weapons. It's like they're saying "Come near me and I'll stab you!". Plus I love their special ability even though it's only a 1 out of 5 chance of working. Godly effect when leveling.

I love the female ninjas! They can put 5 enemies to sleep all at once, great for leveling against high level enemies (and the sleep attack had never failed me once). Also they are pretty cute and their outfits are mysterious and awesome.

Lostgirl pretty much took to words out of my mouth. Female ninjas are just great dues to their excellent status spells. Why deal with a hiding mage when you can silence her? Why let that Tree Golem regenerate when you can poison it?
I use my female ninja a lot when dealing with bosses too. I can remember putting Axle to sleep every round; letting him do nothing for the whole battle.
