I've just recently played HMC. I've found a couple of online guides to get me through, however, I am continuing to not fulfill my reqirements at the end of the first day.

I've greeted most of the villagers on the first day, had a couple of cut scenes with Witch Princess and Gustafa. Digged at the Excavation Site and got a couple of monies and maybe one piece of jewellery if I was lucky.

With most energy being used at the Ex. Site, my character can only till maybe two 3X3 fields to plant seeds, after she uses the watering can, she faints and the guy on the farm (count pronounce his name) carries her home.

She can't work as well the following day too because she is sick from working late and hard and faints during mid day, it drives me nuts.

Her energy just seems to deplete rapidly, I've tried one or two pieces of wild grass to keep her going but it doesn't seem to help at all.

Any advice on what to do to earn money without fainting and meeting all the villagers, please let me know.

As Sarvani said, you should just take things slower. ^___^ The game goes on for a long time there's no worries. You could dedicate each day to doing something, for example on one day you work for money, the other day you work on your social life, then work for the money on the next day again. You can use different ways to split it up. ^^;

Hmm... I have a few suggestions

1. Work on playing the casino games in the Sprite Inc. Station (the dealers are very easy to find, don't worry) earn A LOT a meadls and talk to Guts, the leader, and ask for the sprites to do your farm work (feeding, watering, brushing, fishing, etc.) Use that time to talk to villagers, and such.
2. Like many have already said, try taking it easy. Do less work.
3. Befriend Flora, and at about 11PM once you have 200 FP with her on any day but Sunday, visit the digsite, from Vesta's farm. (This dosen't work using the travel necklace.) And you will discover a hot spring. Use it to loose fatigue.
4. Van sells a bunch of cheap ways to get rid of fatigue and gain stamima.
5. Eat MANY grasses, buy food from Kai in the summer. Don't eat red or orange grass (red is posin, orange doesn't help or hurt at all.), buy drinks from the bar, and eat random things along the town depedning on seasons.

When you mentioned Flora, I've been showing my cat to her (I think its one of her fav things), I am sure I did it at least 100 times, the only thing is, I can't see a heart or something to indicate that she's ready for me to meet her at the dig site at 11pm.

Whereabouts is the van please? I'm nearing day 8 and I can't find its whereabouts...

No problems.

In order:

1. You can buy the love bangle from the sprite that sells medals and prizes at the casino for 5,000 medals. (It seems like a lot, but not really.) It shows your FP with Flora.
2. Van is found in the very upstaris of the Inn, way in the back, he sets up a shop on every month that ends in an 8 or 3. (ex: 3rd, 8th, 3th, 18th, 23rd, 28th)
