2. I wish I knew. I am stuck there, too. I am thinking that it might be 'on hold' until the next Fall or Winter. But it doesn't matter too much to me, because I can't really see a need for the updated robot features.

3. I guess you mean the ones in the treasure chests that don't open yet? The ones in the ...'giants forest' or whatever it is called. I forget what has to be done first before those will open.... Oh, it's the task of growing the poinsettias for the Christmas party.

4. It's the Typhoon watering can that will hold water to melt snow, isn't it? You get the special water on the ledges of your storage area where your cows and chickens graze. Their small ponds hold the magic water.

Well, since answered the 3 questions. I guess I'll the only one thats left since I feel lazy to type right now.. Okay, 1. You have to goon the egde of the lake then you'll see the mermaid come up to you...

I went to the left of the hermit's house all the way down to the water and stood there for a minute and the mermaid just appeared for me.

It just means that the mermaid cleared the mist in the giant forest, which is near the cave to where the fallen trees used to be.
