I got final fantasy 12 for the ps2 and i hated it because it was a really boring slow leveling up game..Can you tell me if this is just the game to take away my hate for RPG's? because i hate all RPG's except pokemon and thats really it..So can you tell me the best parts of the game (not the sex scene cause i know about that..lol), and the bad bits?

This game is an "action RPG". What does that mean? Well, in this case, you carry around guns and shoot crap and enjoy a truly magnificent story. So yes, it's good.

One of the first games I got for the xbox360. I really like it and completed it once with a male shepherd, now I'm playing as a female shepherd and trying to get as many side missions done as possible

Mass Effect is a combination of a third-person shooter blended in with the role-playing game element. Other than perspective and genre, it's basically a "create your own path" type of game, where decisions are taken in your own hands. I highly suggest you buy Mass Effect, you definitely won't regret it. =p

Nah, it's teh goodness. The main focus is the story, so if you wanna buy it just for the shooting and action, it probably isn't what you're looking for.

yeah, on easiest level you don't even need to get frustrated about dying all the time and you get to enjoy the story real well.

Its one of my most favorite games!

This game was worth getting

only warn,its more told towards the city, which means more running and talkin rather than shooting, but there is still alot of battles to go around, plus you go to other planets and listen to files about other races!

But out of alot the best thing is, theres little reading!

this game is brilliant, i recommend it for any western RPG fan. For those who like Final Fantasy then lost odyssey is the obvious choice. Both games have the best stories that i have ever seen in a game, In mass effect u get 2 change the story through player made decisions and lost odyssey im more linear, but has some very sad parts .....
