Well, I decided to go with the Engineer so I can get some of those achievements and I got Liara and Ashley. WOW! Liara is awesome. I finally maxed out her LIFT and that bitch is a beast. I love her. Once she lifts the opponent, I can gun em down with my pistol.

when i'm done with the game, do i choose resume or load career? i already beat the game on normal mode. Also, when do you unlock shock trooper and such?

I figured out how to keep my stuff for the 2nd quest. I completely *bleep*ed up by leaving Eden Prime without changing the difficulty. But oh well, it will give me a chance to get most of the achievements with the Engineer and I'll do that side quest for the Engineer/?.

Once I'm done getting everything I can with the Engineer, then I'll switch up. Thanks a lot guys for all the help. Now I know the game more so it became more easier.

I'm thinking you get that Shock Trooper ability when do you Admiral Kohaku's sidequest. He's the guy standing in the Citadel talking to someone through a terminal.

It still could be a level based achievement though, but I doubt it.

But yeah, deeplovey, you're welcome. I initially was a bit confused when I started playing as well. Just remember to always keep yourself updated with the best equipment possible, and you make the game so much easier.

Shock Trooper and other special expertise options are unlocked when you do a side quest to destroy a renegade VI on Luna (the moon). You get a transmission from Admiral Hacket about it. It could come in any time in the game. I don't think there is a specific trigger for it.

I just completed it. I'm a Engineer/Operative. Once I'm done getting the Engineer achievements and such, I'll go for something a bit more easier. Especially for the harder stages. I think that the Soldier class is the easiest one. Even though, the Engineer with a Biotic is killer, Soldier with Liara is wicked.

I'm playing through Insanity using a Vanguard, since they are pretty good with both weapons AND biotic. A soldier would work well too.

And thanks sniper. I KNEW you got it during a sidequest, I just couldn't remember which one.

Yeah, Vanguard is my favorite class to use. Still haven't finished it on Insanity yet. Don't know when I'll get to it.

I started playing this game as the one thats crossed with the soldier and the engineer kinda (not really sure lol) and i got frustrated with having to use the shot gun all the time.
