This game sounds kind of like Mass Effect - is that true?

No, think of it more as God of War with RPG elements, like upgradeable weapons and powers.

no but it will be futuristic and set in 3rd person and have robot enemies but thats where the simalarities end it has melee weapons,laser guns,mines and more action MUCH MOAR ACTION

3rd person hack n slash, with a ton of RPG elements. Also has camera options for a drop down view.(diablo style) Similar to Mass Effect in someways but very different in the combat as you can tell.

And its not futuristic. If you look it up its set about 40,000 years I believe? In the past. Ragnarök wipes out most of civilization and technologies. Pre-Ragnarök, the game is set in a ice age world triggered by war and nuclear war between the machines and humans.

i didn't say it was set in the future i just said looked futuristic first of all u fight robots and everythings made of metal second of all the main character has access to highly advanced technology (laser weapons,robot spiders,powerfull e-z 2 deploy explosives)

its kinda like mass effect only because of the rpg element and the upgradable weaponds and stuff. but the gameplay is kinda like dmc

THEY ARE 2 DIFFERENT GAMES!

wtf this game is nothing lik mass effect you cant create your person no dialouge that you can choose and you cant fly around planets,and there are no melee weapons in mass effect, AND the fighting is WAY DIFFERENT but all the same the game will be good.
