I figured I'd make a GD so we could have a thread to discuss anything. I had no idea that were even thinking about a Splinter Cell 4, did you?

I figured that they would make a fourth in the series, seeing as it was never announced that it would just be a trilogy. Because of that, it wasn't really a suprise, just a good bit of info.
How long could the series go on? In theory, it could last for a few more games as UbiSoft has plenty to spend, but I can see Sam possibly being killed off pretty soon... | |

My Chaos Theory just arrived today, man the game is freaking sweet. I love the controller layout. Right now I'm on the second mission, I though I turned it off to make the game last quite some time.

I must admit...Splinter Cell 4 looks like it will be a great game. After seeing some pictures I hope that it isn't all show & no go.

I don't believe the rating has been confirmed yet, but it's likely to be the same as previous games in the serious, seeing as violence won't be increased much, if at all, and Sam's not one for swearing/sexual references on the job...
 This forum's really died down a bit. Shortly after addition it was up at 5/6 PPD (even though most of those being from me), but now it isn't even past 1. It should pick up closer to release though. | |

Well considering some of the content of the new game, it looks like the rating may get bumped up slightly. But I can not see it being that drastic to the rating.
Anyway, one thing I am looking for in Double Agent is better online play, and from what I hear. It will be.  Pandora Tomorrow had me hooked for months with the online, then I went and bought Chaos Theory.  Loved the single player, but the online was just Pandora Tomorrow with new maps. So I felt disappointed with Chaos Theory in a way.-------------------  -Only to find I've come full circle- | |

Hopefully they will pull out all the stops this time, after some pretty negative feedback regarding the lack of improvement in the online modes. If I see any articles regarding them, I'll post them in the Online thread.

I still haven't finished either Splinter Cell or Splinter Chaos Theory. I also have to get myself a copy of Pandora Tomorrow.
