I think that there is one mistake in the name of BMW M3 GTR, because i think that "GTR" means that the car must have a turbo, but in the game the BMW doesn't have a turbo.

I would probably agree with your question though it might be wrong see i own 1 and it is true GTR means turbo so it is EA's fault.

I do have a pet peeve when game designers don't design games to the exact detail... especially in car games that are all about the cars.

Take Gran Turismo III for example... the 3000GT VR4's redline is incorrect. Shows 6500 RPM... it is 7000RPM in real life (I have owned 3, I know).

But, in this case, they should have gave it a turbo if they were going to call it a GTR. Maybe it is a turbo, and you just can't hardly hear it, or it doesn't show a boost guage because you don't have an upgrade (since you can't upgrade it).

As razor2749 said, GTR stands for Gran Turismo Racing. So it doesn't mean the car has to have a turbo. Which it doesn't.

and its true that the engine of a bmw m3 gtr is a 4.0 litre v8
it has no turbo but the street version still powers 350 Horsepower
..
So Ea are not to blame beacaus annyway a m3 gtr has no turbo
