Does anybody know if brothers in arms RTH 30 and EIB are going to be backwards compatible on the 360 soon, I want to play them so I can keep up with the story.

Every time an XBOX 360 patch comes out it includes a list of games that are backwards compatible, as MicroSoft is continuing to update the 360 with patches to enable backwards compatibility. Just wait it out for a while.

It's not exactly up to Gearbox or UbiSoft, it's up to MicroSoft. Backwards compatibility requires a lot of work on a lot of these games, some more than others, especially Brothers in Arms, explaining why you have shitty games like Barbie's Horse Adventure coming before BiA.
