The game promises authenticity, and I expect as much. Gearbox did a fantastic job in Road to Hill 30 and Earned in Blood, so I don't think we'll be able to have the privilege to see one of your fantastic fits.

But the reloading for the Kar98 and such? Do either of you know how to eject a clip from one?

You just keep repeating the bolt action until all of your remaining rounds have been ejected. When the weapon is fired, the cartridge doesn't fly out of the weapon like a semiautomatic, it must be ejected manually through the bolt by opening its lock and then pulling back. Conveniently, pushing the bolt forward after the pulling back action chambers another round. Repeating the bolt-pulling process simply ejects the currently chambered round, only this time it will be intact since you have not fired it. To reload whilst in the middle of a magazine, you simply slide in additional bullets into the open bolt. If you want to remove all of your bullets, simply open the bolt, stick your hand in there, and out they'll come.

Just what I wanted to know, mate. Fine explanation.
I don't suppose that they'll be going in deep with the weapons? Windage, bullet drop, etc... ------------------- ![]()

To an extent, I'm guessing that (as usual) the heavier more "visible" projectiles such as grenades, Panzerfaust, and other objects to that extent will have physics, whereas bullets and all that other stuff will not, just as they have done with the other games.

This is Hell's Highway on a next generation system, not Road to Hill 30. Besides, what was wrong with the RtH30 grenades?

Really, I couldn't figure them out. I guess context-sensitive controls don't work too well for me. I don't know. It just seems that every time I didn't want to overthrow a grenade, it would land a few meters from my hapless self or just in front of the log behind which the enemy was taking cover. I was constantly envious of my computer-controlled comrades, who could perfectly toss a grenade right at the feet of the enemy, every time.

quote western frontVice, vice. Well, considering that GTA: Vice City was about a city similar to Sin City, I'm going to conclude that vices are bad things. Anyway, we weren't actually talking about the PC version of the game in this thread, and I don't believe we're allowed to. Back on topic. ------------------- ![]()

Panzerschreck, hmm. We've only seen Panzerfausts up until this point, even though they were more common than the former. I really don't know, actually. I put as a wish the inclusion of the bayonet, and I'm pretty sure that'll come into play. I'm not sure what the addition of a shotgun would do, other than bring back happy memories of playing "Arnhem Knights" in Medal of Honor : Frontline two years ago. Happy times.
