I just got to level two and chose a cleric level up, but I'm actually a Paladin, and I don't know how to use the Cleric's Heal spell. Help?

The most likely culprit is that you are wearing armor. I haven't played this game is aggeess though so I could be wrong. Also check that you have the necessary stats to pull off said spell. eg. enough Wisdom or whatever it is you need.
