I ran into the same problems other people posted and one of the times I restarted I went to the alchemist and he had a chicken for sale...just for laughs I bought it and it was great. Since then I havent seen again any clues? The power of the chicken is 30 for level 1 its slow but it works and it only cost 1 gold!!!

The chicken is a weapon. I'm not sure how you get people to sell it, but it seemed to appear in shops after I defeated the giant chicken in a cave in Surdana...

Yeah that was probably the reason. I never even found that large chicken until I replayed the game a second time.

i have also gotten the chicken though it wasn't after i beat the giant chicken it was after i got the chart for the cptain in the andreliane isles.
the chicken is awsome though. | |

The chicken is a random weapon that appears in any shop at any time. Having the stats that it has, it is the true Ultimate weapon of the game. You can force the game to give you one by entering and exiting any shops buying menu repeatedly, you should hear a clucking noise when it appears in the menu.
