Hi can anyone experienced check my stats to see if I would be able to kill the HR2 quest with the two Diablos?

My weapon has 330 water attibute.
My armour gives me Attack Up(small)

Which armor set and weapon are you using? Stats doesnt matter as much as having experience and the right items to beat them. If you are worried about stats go eat at the kitchen with 5 cats for the 50 life and damage up bonus (meat and wine).

Im guessing ure using plesioths watersword. Its the recommended great sword for this quest but im not that good with great swords so i dont exactly know the strategy to use. But bring sonic bombs 20 screamers and gunpowder. Also bring flashbombs and maybe what you need to make flash bombs. Also all the healing that you ll need (i dont know how much you usually get hit in a fight). A farcaster for emergencies or if you want to get to camp faster so u can get to the desert diablo. Also dont forget the steaks and cool drink. Fight the one not in the desert first. Save your flash bombs for the desert diablo since he goes into rage more often and does his annoying burrow hit and runs.

As for your armor I dont think your resistance matters that much for this fight. You will however need high grade earplugs. I suggest you get Rathalos Soul Set with Garuga Mask for high grade plugs. Diablos scream will leave you far too open especially if youre close to him and cant manage to block it

Garuga mask can be obtained after you beat garuga more than 7 seven times and you have quest revenge of the garuga. Rathalos soul set is easy to obtain. The esiest way is to finish few times quest troublesome pair in the swamp. There are ian and los but they have less life and are esier to beat. Quest smoke clad king with azure los on the volcano is sometimes real pain in the a$$.

oh i know what you mean. the smoke clad king is a nightmare!!lol!!! does the garuga get easier to beat everytime you face it cause garuga is normally pretty hard!!!! reggaery

Good luck with los soul set and 2 diablos, they're easy if you are not afreid them and you know what to do

Garuga does not get easier each time...He gets harder...Garuga gets larger in size every time u kill him until he reaches king size...but the mask is definitely worth it. Im HR 5 and its part of every set i have with earplugs. You should kill troublesome pair in the swamp until youve got the parts for Rathalos Soul Set minus the helm.

The dual monster quests are easier because i believe the monster hps are significantly lowered and their damage is halved.

As for Diablos, I suggest you get really really aggressive with the first one...really go to town on his @$$. This is probably the only way you ll have time to kill the 2nd one. I personally think that Great swords are too slow and SnS work better fighting diablo because of his fast charge rage mode. The only downside with SnS is that your range is greatly downsized. This isnt that big of a deal if u consider you run faster with SnS because of faster sheathing and just generally.

Packing in Ancient potion and Max potion will save you alot. Try to get diablo stuck in the wall and wail on the legs and tail, not the head. This means he can keep getting stuck and he ll trip more for you to cut the tail. When he starts changing areas alot you know hes low hp. High grade earplugs will save you against the one in the desert.

hi. started getting rath soul armour. i couldn't find troublesome pair (even though i know ive done it before) so i tried smoke clad king and trashed him!!!

but the waist and leggings dont appear on my armour create list. what is the key item?

I think the key item is azr los wing.

some people recommend thundertip.is it possible to get with still being in the 5* quests?

I recommended Thundertip because it has such a high base damage and YOU CAN GET IT in HR1!!! It actually does slightly more damage than frostedge+ against diablos but the problem is farming the electrosacs from khezus. Btw the troublesome pair quest is 6* village quest. After youve killed the troublesome pair (FnH) the quest will disappear forever and ull do the next troublesome pair quest (Swamp) with azure los and pink ian. They are really easy because their damage has been halved pretty much and they have lowered hp as well
